NBTC Promoting the Formation of Licensees, Producers and Mass Media Professions Network

On July 28-29, 2015, the Office of the NBTC organized a training session on “The Promotion on the Formation of Licensees, Producers and Mass Media Professions Network” in order to ensure that all licensees, producers and mass media professions within the broadcasting and telecommunications industry are well aware of the benefits, procedures and practices concerning network formation and sharing of experience in order to seek proper solutions to a problem to ensure sustainability. The opening ceremony, which took place at Sapphire Room, 2^nd Floor, Century Park Hotel Bangkok, was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thawatchai Jitrapanun from NBTC. The event was also kindly attended by Khun Charoen Thinkohkaew, President of Thai Local Radio Vocation Association, and Dr. Teerarat Pantawee, President of Kids Radio and Media Association, as keynote speakers to share some experiences on building network strength. On the second day, the event was kindly attended by Khun Vichan Unok, Secretary of the National Federation of Community Radio Stations, Khun Chakkrit Permpoon, Professional Ethics Monitoring Committee, Thai Journalist Association, and Khun Visut Khomwatcharapong, former President of Thai Broadcast Journalist Association who joined a discussion session hosted by Dr. Mana Trirayapivat, lecturer from UTCC School of Communication Arts. The program was greatly interested by over 100 representatives from various groups nationwide.
